  • Execute manual and automated test cases/suites for assigned software releases
  • Testing in ETL, DB2 with lot of Integration/QC/System testing background
  • Design and develop performance test scripts using Performance Center 11, Loadrunner, and SOAP UI.
  • Develop test scripts/testing solutions through analysis of product specifications, software requirements specifications, and software prototypes.
  • Design and Develop automated tests to conduct testing at various architectural layers of an enterprise application
  • Drive technology decisions for the Automation framework to enhance our ability to test with agility.
  • Develop the test strategy for the areas assigned by analyzing requirements, design and overall project goals.
  • Analyze, triage & document all issues discovered during testing. Verify and close issues resolved during the release cycle.
  • Update test cases and Automation scripts when appropriate to reflect changes in product functionality or requirements.
  • Actively participate in planning, estimation, and prioritization processes to ensure successful execution of testing activities.
  • Partner and build relationships with others throughout the testing, software development and business analysis teams. This is an Agile development environment.

Required Skills :

  • Aptitude for solving complex analytical and technical problems independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exposure to agile development methodologies
  • Experience developing and executing scripts in Loadrunner, QTP, ATL, HP Control Center, SOAP UI, and other test automation tools
  • Deadline and detail oriented with demonstrated ability to deliver on commitments
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and quickly drive resolution of issues
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Experience with software test methodologies
  • Experience with Web applications
